Amidst their busy program in Riga the group of children from Ivano-Frankivsk, whose parents take part in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine or were killed defending Ukraine, as well as from displaced families from Luhansk, on Christmas holidays in Latvia visited the Embassy of Ukraine.
They were welcomed by Ukrainian diplomats and father Roman from the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church.
The children received presents and shared their impressions of Latvia. Most of them are abroad for the first time.
As we earlier reported, the group of children arrived in Latvia on Christmas holidays upon the invitation by the Jelgava Council, assisted by the Ukrainian Culture Society “Dzherelo”.
