The inauguration ceremony was attended by Latvia President Raimonds Vējonis, Minister for Agriculture Jānis Dūklavs, heads of diplomatic missions, accredited in Riga, as well as Ukraine Ambassador to Latvia Yevgen Perebyinis.

The Baltics’ biggest food industry event “Riga Food” this year gathered over 650 enterprises from 40 countries of the world, many countries represented by national stands.

The Ukrainian stand of over 150 sq. m. was represented by 12 enterprises – both food and drinks and package producers.

The Ukrainian Ambassador presented the products of the national stand to Minister Dūklavs. In general, the participants stated high interest of visitors and other participants to the Ukrainian products.
