Delegation of Constitutional Court of Ukraine during trip to Riga visits Embassy of Ukraine

On December 9-12, 2015, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine consisting of its Chairman Yuriy Baulin and a judge Serhiy Vdovichenko is visiting Riga on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Latvia.
On December 10 the delegation met with Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Latvia Aldis Laviņš and judges and participated in a tripartite round table with Latvia and Lithuania delegations.
During the meeting the parties discussed the role of the preamble in interpreting the Constitution, the methodology for wording the operative part of a ruling and other working issues.
On Friday, December 11 the Ukrainian delegation will take part in the conference into “Admissability of Restrictions upon Fundamental Rights in a Democratic State”.
