Bohomolets National Medical University delegation visits Latvia

On March 9 and 10 a delegation of the Bohomolets National Medical University, including First Prorector on scientific pedagogical activity Yaroslav Tsekhmister, Prorector on international cooperation and scientific pedagogical activity Olesia Lynovytska and Director of Postgraduate Institute Yuriy Kuchin, visited the Republic of Latvia.
On March 9 the delegation met with administration and academics of the Riga Stradiņš University, having signed the Memorandum of cooperation and toured the study facilities.
Having met with Latvia’s Health Minister Guntis Belēvičs, the parties discussed ways to facilitate cooperation in medical education and practical steps of activities and development of university clinics in both countries.
On March 10 the delegation visited the Baltic biggest pharmaceutical company OlainFarm, where they were shown the medicine production and had a meeting with the enterprise’s CEOs.
