During the meeting the parties discussed issues of the Latvian National Guard activity arrangement and its main duties.

 Commander informed the Ambassador about the history of NG creation, recruiting, training, servicing and its main tasks in current situation.

On his part, the Ambassador thanked the Commander for given information, noted Latvian unique experience, its importance for Ukraine in current situation (facing Russian military aggression) and due to the aspiration for NATO membership.
