Verkhovna Rada delegation, local self-government officials and energy efficiency experts visit Latvia

On 30 May – 3 June 2017 a delegation of members of parliament, local self-government, UNDP in Ukraine experts, led by Mr Oleksandr Kodola, Chairman of the Group for interparliamentary relations with Latvia, visited Latvia in order to study the practice of energy efficiency and energy saving technologies in Latvia, as well as share Ukraine’s respective experience.
The delegation toured state and private agencies implementing energy saving projects, introducing “green” technologies, including at big enterprises. The Ukrainian delegation also visited Smiltene, where got familiar with the state of affairs at the municipal level.
On the occasion of the visit and in the honor of Ukraine - Latvia Frienship Group the Embassy of Ukraine hosted a reception.
