During the consultations the parties discussed issues of the bilateral consular agenda, including the issues of citizenship, migration and visa topics, protection of rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens, as well as non-recognition of documents, issued at the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in Crimea and Sevastopol and Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

During his visit to Riga Mr Pohoreltsev also met with Latvian employers, who employ most of Ukrainian citizens working in Latvia, the crewing company Hansa Marine Management LTD and Kreiss company, exchanging opinions on working conditions of Ukrainian citizens and ways to protect the rights and lawful interests of Ukrainian employees.
