The choir of the school is well-known in Riga due to their traditional participation in many public diplomacy events, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine.

In 2018 the Embassy of Ukraine provided financial support to the Riga Ukrainian Secondary School within the budgetary program 1401110 “Financial support for international image of Ukraine, activities of the Ukrainian Institute, ties with Ukrainians living abroad”.
