On that occasion the national flag of Ukraine was flying half-staff. Later during the day, after the protest action in front of the Embassy of Russia in Latvia, devoted to the 5th anniversary of the start of the Russian agression against Ukraine, the Ukrainian and Latvian friends of Ukraine, parishioners of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Riga rallied near the Taras Shevchenko monument to pray for those killed during the Maidan protests. 

Afterwards all willing joined the Memory Angels silent action at the territory of the Embassy of Ukraine. 

Українці по всьому світові завжди пам'ятатимуть велику жертовність і любов до України кожного полеглого на Майдані героя, які віддали найцінніше - своє життя - заради нашого з вами кращого майбутнього.
