Ukraine Ambassador to Latvia Olexandr Mischenko presents copies of letters of credence to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs

On 21 March Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Olexandr Mischenko presented copies of the letters of credence to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs. The Ambassador of Ukraine thanked the Latvian Foreign Minister for invariable position of official Riga on territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Minister Rinkēvičs aired his support for Ukraine in reforms in the context of the European integration.
The Minister expressed his hope that results of presidential election will not change the political course of Ukraine and stressed the Latvian resoluteness to develop trade and economic relations, as well as cooperation in other areas of mutual interest. Olexandr Mischenko thanked for Latvian assistance in treatment of servicemen, injured while fighting Russian aggression, and expressed high need for the continuation of the rehabilitation program this year.
