From the Ukrainian side the agreement was signed by Bakhmut Mayor Oleksiy Reva, from the Latvian side by Saldus Mayor Maris Zusts.

This document envisages the development of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience between local authorities in different spheres of collaboration - economy, education, culture and others.

We very much welcome the establishment of relations between the cities of Bakhmut and Saldus and look forward to further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Ukraine and Latvia!
