According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 22, 2020 № 641 the quarantine in Ukraine was extended from 01 to 31 August 2020.
Requirement for the period of quarantine of a mandatory rule for foreigners and stateless persons who enter Ukraine to have an insurance policy which must cover the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19, observation and the entire duration of stay in Ukraine.
The insurance policy should be issued by a company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company partner in Ukraine.
This requirement will not apply to:
- foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in Ukraine,
- persons recognized as refugees and persons in need of additional protection
- employees of diplomatic missions of foreign states, representations of official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families,
- servicemen of the armed forces of NATO member states and NATO member states program "Partnership for Peace", who take part in the training of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Persons who cross the state border of Ukraine from the "red zone" of countries where COVID-19 cases numbers in the last 14 days are higher of cases numbers in Ukraine should install app "Dii Vdoma"(Act at home) of the Unified State Web Portal of electronic services.

Also, a person can be free from self-isolation in Ukraine in case he/she has a negative test result for Covid-19 by PCR, which was passed no later than 48 hours before crossing the Ukrainian border (starting from 1/08/2020). Installing app “Dii Vdoma” is required.
