The Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia joins the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and UNITED24 in supporting the fundraising campaign to purchase 10 Type-C ambulances for Ukrainian hospitals.
The initiative, led by former NASA astronaut, first responder and UNITED24 ambassador Scott Kelly, aims to raise $1.2 million through UNITED24’s Medical Aid program.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 495 ambulances have been destroyed or damaged, including 46 in 2026 alone. At the same time, Ukrainian emergency medical teams continue to work under immense pressure, responding to millions of calls and saving lives every day, including in the aftermath of Russian attacks.
Every new ambulance means faster emergency assistance, more lives saved, and greater capacity for Ukrainian medics to reach those in urgent need.
We invite the Ukrainian community in Latvia, our Latvian friends, partners and everyone who stands with Ukraine to support this important initiative.
Every contribution brings us one step closer to providing Ukrainian medics with the vehicles they urgently need to save lives.
