On February 10, a Russian drone struck a private home in Kharkiv, killing a father and his three young children. The mother, who is pregnant, was hospitalised with burns.
On the night of February 11, Russia killed one person and injured six others, including children, in the Sumy region. A railway depot in Konotop was hit, damaging a firefighting train. This morning, a Russian drone also struck a city hospital in Zaporizhzhia. The Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava regions were also targeted.
Each Russian attack shows that diplomacy alone is not enough and only real pressure on Russia and firm security guarantees for Ukraine can stop the killings.
Russia is preparing to continue the war. Strength protects lives – through sustained support for Ukraine, air defence, resilience assistance, and accountability for Russian crimes.
