Days of Ukrainian Culture in Jelgava

On 4 April 2013 the 5-meter “Towel of Ukrainian in Latvia” was solemnly handed for further embroidery to Liepaja Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Society “Svitanok” during the two-hour concert in Jelgava.
The event in the Small Hall of Culture was attended by more than 150 citizens of Jelgava, representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia, members of Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Society “Svitanok”, guests from Ivano-Frankivsk and Jelgava municipality representatives.
The event was dedicated to the Days of Ukrainian Culture in Jelgava.
