In his greeting Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Anatoliy Oliynyk stressed the importance of this celebration for the Ukrainian community and its contribution to the development of Ukraine-Latvia cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Head of the Vangaži City Administration A.Nalyvayko and representatives of the mass-media attended the opening ceremony.

The guests of the festival had the opportunity to enjoy Ukrainian songs and dances, performed by the artistic groups of Ukrainian communities from all regions of Latvia. The final accord of the “Slavic Wreath” was the gala concert of all participants.

During the visit to Vangaži the meeting of the Ambassador with Head of the Vangaži City Administratin A.Nalyvayko took place.
