Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Anatoliy Oliynyk took part in the creation of the special bas-relief of «New Wave» International Contest.

On 20 July 2011, a special bas-relief devoted to the 10th anniversary of the International Contest of Young Pop Singers «New Wave» was created.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Anatoliy Oliynyk and Ukrainian participants of the Contest - M.Sobko and the group «The Kolia Serga» together took part in the creation of an international relief moulding depicting, among other national signs, a bunch of guelder-rose as a symbol of Ukraine.

Ambassador addressed the contestants from 14 countries with a greeting speech and wished them success. Anatoliy Oliynyk also gave interviews to local and foreign TV channels covering the event by saying: «I hope that diligence and hard work of the Ukrainian participants will be crowned with victory».
