On March 10, 2011 Chargé d’Affairs of Ukraine to Latvia Oleksandr Kushnir held a meeting with Association for promotion of international business and development delegation. The mentioned delegation comprises pupils of Ukrainian secondary schools, students of higher education institutions of Ukraine and representatives of different Ukrainian regions.

During the meeting Mr. Kushnir informed the pupils on present state of Ukraine-Latvia relations, and praised the absence of problems or unsolved issues in bilateral relations. Latvia has also always been advocate of Ukraine in its European integration aspirations.

The students showed great interest in internal situation in Latvia, its traditions and culture, the perspectives of higher education cooperation etc.

The delegation will stay in Latvia until March 13, 2011. The members of the delegation are to meet the representatives of the Latvian Saeima, Riga city council, as well as Ukrainian non-governmental organizations.
