Ukraine is shocked by a horrific terrorist attack on the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo, as a result of which journalists and policemen were killed. We express our sincere condolences to relatives and families of the victims.
Our state, against which well-organized terrorist units fight today in Donbas, is well aware of what terrorism is. We strongly believe that no motives, neither political, ethnical nor religious can justify those who claim to take human lives.
We are resent about the fact that this crime was committed against journalists. The freedom of speech is a cornerstone of democracy which no way can be doubted. No journalist opinion can subject to persecution or even more - physical violence.
We hope that executants and masterminds of this horrible crime will be brought to responsibility and bear the punishment they deserve.
We urge the whole international community to unite efforts against terrorism no matter what mottoes they cover and targets they aim.
