Congress of Latvian Ukrainians gathers humanitarian aid for Ukraine

The Congress of Latvian Ukrainians with the assistance of volunteers from Sweden and Latvia gathered the humanitarian aid for Ukraine to the tune of almost 55 000 euro.
On December 27 the cargo arrived in the Sea Port of Riga from Stockholm. The cargo is scheduled to be dispatched to Dnipropetrovsk on January 3-5, 2015.
The humanitarian aid consists of hygiene and medical items, kids clothes etc.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia expresses its gratitude to the volunteers for the humanitarian aid rendered to Ukraine and will, in its turn, assist in the cargo’s passing the borders smoothly.
