On December 1, 2010 the opening of the cultural project “Find yours!” took place in Vermanas Park in Riga. The project is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of placing in Riga the first decorated Christmas tree. In the Vermanas Park was created a garden of specially decorated fir-trees that represents different countries of Europe and the world. Ukrainian Christmas tree is also represented in the garden.

Charge d’Affairs of Ukraine to Latvia Mr. O.Kushnir gave a short speech at the opening of the project telling about Ukrainian Christmas traditions.

The “Find yours!” garden will be opened to public up to January 16, 2011.
