Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin during his visit to New York meets with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon

UN official expressed his frustration over militants’ breaking February 12 Minsk agreements and their continuing offensive as a result of which the peaceful population suffers.
Pavlo Klimkin stressed that occupation of Debaltseve with the support of the Russian Federation and ongoing attacks in other directions are the blatant violation of the Minsk agreements. Ukraine is devoted to their implementation, he added.
The meeting also dealt with the likelihood of deployment of an UN operation of peace maintaining in Ukraine, which would help to stabilize the situation and bring all parties to stick to the Minsk agreements.
