During the visit she was accompanied by other members of the Ukrainian delegation – First Deuty Head of the VR Committee for Culture and Spirituality Iryna Podoliak, Head of Subcommittee of the VR Committee for European Integration Oksana Yurynets and Ukraine Ambassador to Latvia Yevgen Perebyinis.

The delegation toured the premises of the school, where children of Latvian Ukrainians, as well as other nationalities,study. The school principal Lidia Kravchenko briefed the guests about the study process of a Ukrainian school abroad. The meeting also dealt with the ways of how Ukraine can promote Ukrainian education in the Republic of Latvia.
