During the meeting the parties discussed prospects for regional cooperation with Ukraine in the humanitarian domain, opportunities for cultural exchange, as well as realization of other art and education projects.

In view of Jurmala once partnership ties with the city of Alushta of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, under conditions of illegal annexation and ongoing occupation of the peninsula by the Russian Federation, the parties exchanged their views on likely new partners in Ukraine.

During his visit to the JurmalaArtSchool the Ambassador discussed preparations for an exhibition of Ukrainian children pictures.
