On 26 September 2012, 23 Ukraine’s citizens that had suffered a traffic accident in Latvia, went home.

Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia and the Ukrainian citizens express their deep gratitude for the assistance at the scene of the accident and during the stay of the Ukrainian delegation in Latvia to central and local governments, to the leadership of Salaspils local authorities, the police, the Salaspils Social Center and hotel Visdari, which hosted the citizens of Ukraine free of charge, as well as to representatives of the Ukrainian community in Latvia, who promptly and sincerely responded to the needs of young sportsmen who had found themselves in a difficult situation.
