Anatoliy Oliynyk informed the representatives of the media on Ukraine’s efforts on the path of European integration and the key aspects of the bilateral cooperation of Ukraine and Latvia. There was a lively discussion on such topics as Ukraine’s accession to the EU and cooperation with NATO and the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.

Special attention was devoted to the Ukrainian-Latvian relations, particularly in political, economic, transport and transit areas. The representatives of media also showed much interest in the current domestic situation in Ukraine, including election of the people’s deputies of Ukraine, freedom of speech in Ukraine and so on.
