On 22 December 2012 the staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia took part in the “Bethlehem Flame of Peace” action.

The solemn transfer of the Flame, which was delivered to the Latvian land by Ukrainian scouting organization “Plast”, in the Chapel of the Sorrowful Virgin Cathedral in Riga was held.
Flame transfer was held with organizational assistance of Congress of Ukrainians in Latvia and Ukrainian Centre for Youth and Children in Latvia.
