On April 11, 2011 Chargé d’Affairs of Ukraine to Latvia Oleksandr Kushnir held a meeting with Deputy Minister for Tourism and Resorts Oleksandr Liev.

O. Liev paid a visit to Latvia by invitation of touristic company  «Kandagar»  to establish cooperation in the field of tourism and culture. Deputy Minister informed on his meetings with Vice-Mayor of Riga A.Ameriks, leadership of promotion company  «LIVERIGA», aviation company  «AirBaltic». Upon the negotiations with the Latvian Side the agreements were reached on cooperation between Simferopol and Riga, holding the Days of Crimea in Latvia, raising the quantity of flights Riga-Simferopol, press exchanges, development of cultural cooperation etc.
