On 20 October 2012, the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Ukrainian cultural and educational organization “Vodograj” from the city of Rezekne, one of the first organizations of Ukrainian diaspora in Latvia, took place.
The greeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the members of the organization was read out. "Significant contribution of your organization to the preservation and promotion of the traditions of the Ukrainian people in Latvia are well known. Your selfless creative work and cultural and educational activities have become a real talisman of ethnic memory, culture and spirit of the Motherland", - the greeting said.
The audience had the opportunity to enjoy Ukrainian folk and popular songs, performed by the artistic groups of Ukrainian communities.

The representatives of the Ukrainian community, Latvian intelligentsia and media took part in the event.
