On 6 October 2012, within the framework of the theatre festival “Rainbow”, Ukrainian folk theatre presented the pieces of its new play “Chasing Two Hares”.

The guests of the event highly appreciated the play of Diana Anča, Vladyslav Lystyk, Georgij Krutyj, Tetiana Dudčenko, Lida Vasylieva and Katheryna Tumko.

This is the third play of Ukrainian folk theater. The first two - "Natalka Poltavka" by Ivan Kotlyarevskyi and "Forest Song" by Lesia Ukrainka - received positive reviews of theatrical experts and ordinary viewers.

On the same day in Riga, the opening of the exhibition of artists of Ukrainian origin living in Riga took place. The exhibition includes works by Georgij Krutyj, Anatolij Borodkin, Volodymyr Kudoyar and Vassyl Khvatov.
Representatives of Ukrainian community of Latvia, officials and media attended the event.
